Overall
Powder Mountain in Utah is just like its name – a haven for powder skiers. Powder Mountain feels private, uncrowded, and unbelievably special as they limit ticket sales to 1,500 skiers a day! Powder is owned by The Summit Group, an organisation of brilliant business minds, tech startup entrepreneurs, billionaires, artists and band members that purchased Powder Mountain Ski Resort in Eden Utah in 2013. This impressive group of startup owners, nature goers, and party throwers have unveiled their Powder Summit ski village concept, but the ski area will continue to be authentic, all natural snow. It is humble but huge – 3,399 ha including 2,876 lift served acres (9 lifts total) plus 205 ha cat skiing (at $25 a ride) and 2,056 ha accessed by a hike or served by shuttle bus when you ski beyond the lifts. You get the drift, Powder is special and has been since 1972.

Badass nobody is there sick terrain! Parking at the top of the mountain is unique. Would absolutely recommend over busy crowded resorts closer to Salt Lake City. Even after a few day old storm lots of pow to still shred!... Moreexpert snowboarder

Powder Mountain might be my favorite place in Utah. It's very local friendly, has great atmosphere, the people that ride there are outstanding, and typically is never crowded. Overall not the steepest or most challenging but has some great stuff if you're willing to hike or pay a bit extra for the cat ride. Time a powder day and you'll be stoked... Moreexpert snowboarder

When i first showed up to the resort i was greeted by a staff member and directed where to buy lift tickets. When we were ready to go a guide asked if we have ever been there and i never have. He then had us follow him to show us around and the bar and the tlreaort was tons of fun many great people... Moreadvanced snowboarder

I don't really know or care about the lodging or apres ski activities. All I care about is skiing and Powder Mountain has consistently good skiing. It's not the biggest. It's not the steepest. But it is consistently good.... Moreexpert skier
