Telluride Ski Resort is a major ski destination located in southwestern Colorado. Nestled in the San Juan Mountains, Telluride is known for its spectacular natural beauty, great skiing, and historic charm.
Telluride Ski Resort can be accessed on their day lift tickets, season passes, and two types of Epic Passes.
Telluride Day Ticket has the option of 1 to 10 days of access. It can be purchased online or in-resort during the ski season. This is ideal for last-minute or unplanned ski trips to Telluride. Note that children age 5 and under, and seniors over 80 can ski free, but a lift ticket must be picked up from the ticket office.
Telluride offers full season passes for ages 6 and above as well as 14-Day Passes for ages 13-79. Below highlights the differences between the passes.
Telluride Ski Resort is a partner resort of Epic and can be accessed on two types of Epic Passes. The passes can be purchased pre-ski season until later November or early December. Below highlights the differences between the passes.
Telluride Ski and Snowboard School offer group and private lessons as well as beginner experience adult lessons and cubs ski lessons. All check-in locations are close to the Mountain Village pedestrian core.
The nearest town to Telluride Ski Resort is the town of Telluride itself, which is approximately 7.8 miles drive from Telluride Regional Airport. The ski resort is integrated with the town, providing ski-in-ski-out access to many parts of the town. The town of Telluride is known for its charming, historic atmosphere with a variety of restaurants, shops, and accommodations.
Additionally, there's Mountain Village located directly adjacent to the ski slopes of Telluride Ski Resort. Mountain Village is connected to downtown Telluride via a free, scenic gondola ride.

The Gorrono Ranch is a unique mid-mountain venue located under the Village Express Lift 4. The restaurant is known for its hearty and satisfying ski lodge fare, offer at both indoor and outdoor sitting facing the Wilson Range.

January-March are great times to go. As Telluride is more difficult to reach than other Colorado ski resorts, smaller crowds can be enjoyed all season. However, try to avoid Christmas, New Year's, Martin Luther King weekend, and President's Day weekend to skip holiday crowds. March is also a great time to visit as there is still great snow!
Telluride Ski Resort’s mountain village and the connected ski town of Telluride have free parking at most parking lots, rental shops, a supermarket, and plenty of restaurants. There are also winter activities including snow biking, snowshoeing, and heli-skiing.
Telluride Airport (TEX) is the closest airport to Telluride with only around a 15-minute drive, however, there are not many flights servicing this airport. Instead, fly into Montrose-Telluride Airport(MTJ) which is approximately 65 miles drive through the San Juan National Scenic Byway. There are also several shuttle bus services from MTJ if you do not want to drive.
