A classic ski resort with miles and miles of runs, getting lost in the powder is easy to do here. The crowds tapper off as you get depper into the resort but the lines can be long.... More

Great overall resort with excellent park and apres village. Good for families with young kids as well. Only cons of resort are parking issues and lack of big mountain steep terrain.... More

there was the most and best quality of snow. They did a great job of opening up what was covered and good at closing off what wasn't ready yet. I Still my sentimental favorite as I ski at a lot of different resorts nowadays. If your going to "ski" and want the best chance of the most and highest quality snow.... More

Northstar is a very fun resort to ski at. It has some of the best groomers I've found anywhere, and when the snow is good offers some decent off piste caches. In a light snow year, Northstar is the best resort in the Tahoe area due to their first class snowmaking capability. ... More

Northstar is Vail's gem of the Tahoe area. They put a lot of money into providing the Vail Colorado experience here. Which means bigger tickets on expenses, but if that's what you're looking for you will have a great time. The parks are some of the best in the country, and as someone who used to build them, there is a reason. The terrain isn't... More

I got married at Northstar, taught my kids how to ski at Northstar, and I plan in skiing even more not that I'm in the process of getting divorced. Even though the marriage didn't last, Northstar was always good, always consistent, and I knew what I was getting into every season by skiing there, instead of surprises like discovering my wife rented...
