I learnt to ski here and love the place. Fantastic for beginners but also plenty of options for when you advance. Terrain parks for all levels. The village itself is picturesque and the whole resort is very family friendly.... More

Great destination for a quick weekend trip from Sydney. Good snow and good availability of tracks however can be quite packed during school holiday seasons. Friendly staff and a lot of things to do for the family.... More

Good for an Australian resort, but Australia isn't known for its snow. With tons of trails for riders of any skill level, Thredbo is a good introductory destination. Everything is a bit pricier, and the food options were nothing to write home about, but solid for resort food. There are quite a few options for both ski and snowboard rentals. Most... More

Thredbo is a great family resort. We have stayed in Woodbridge area near Friday Flat. Great easy access, great area for kids and access to all mountain areas from here.... More

Variety of terrain and aspects and elevations. Best place to chase Aussie snow when powder is on. And turns on great in the spring. Good for a bit of side country access as well.... More

When conditions are perfect, this is the best resort in Australia. It does lack modern facilities though and faster lift access. Needs additional lift capacity desperately. Prices in the town are fairly expensive, but that is somewhat expected due to the short Australian season.... More

Great alpine feel for a resort in Australia. A country not known for snow. Great facilities to cater people with various demands from groups of friends to families. Attracts great entertainment throughout the season as well as having a wide variety of restaurants and bars... More

Overall, a great resort - one of the best in Australia. Like most things in Australia it's overpriced for its quality and you'd be better off going overseas. If you want to ski Australia then come here for decent slopes and be wowed by the great party life in town .... More

Great resort with a nice village and some fun slopes. Can get a little icy in the afternoons as a lot of the runs are tree lined and in the shade. It's a great choice if you are staying on snow but otherwise I would say that Perisher edges it out for the win because it has more terrain and areas to explore.
Superb!

One of the premier resorts in the Southern Hemisphere, Thredbo boasts the longest runs in Australia with an awesome village to supplement. With many ski in ski out resorts available, Thredbo is a great resort for families and those looking to adventure out for longer runs.
